My biggest hope for 2022 is to assuage healthcare provider burnout and increase patient-led health improvements. The pandemic has surfaced immense opportunities to drive positive healthcare developments with technology and data. For instance, the emergence of telehealth has enabled remote patient care, while helping to conserve healthcare resources. We must continue to embrace impactful technologies and data-driven processes as challenges such as provider burnout continue to prevail. Tools that deliver the right insight for the right patient at the right time will bring us closer to relieving provider burnout and optimize resource allocation – all while ensuring high-value patient care. This is especially crucial as chronic diseases continue to rise alongside Covid-19 infections.
