Health Catalyst was named by Newsweek and data firm Plant-A Insights Group in their ranking of America's Best Workplaces for Women 2023. These are the 600 large American public companies that, according to research, including the results of a survey of more 37,000 female employees, ranked the highest on criteria like "compensation and benefits," "work-life balance" and "proactive management of a diverse workforce."
Health Catalyst is steadfast in its support of female team members as well as women looking to pursue a career in STEM. The company implemented the Affinity Group Women Empowered (WE) in 2018, has taken the ParityPledge, and commits to interviewing and considering at least one qualified woman for every open role, VP and higher. In addition to the ParityPledge, Health Catalyst appointed Trudy Sullivan, the company’s first Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer, in 2019 to lead diversity and inclusion strategy for the company. Health Catalyst also created the “Women in Engineering” scholarship. This scholarship provides tuition and housing to young women in DevMountain’s immersive QA or Web Development program. To date, the scholarship has provided three female students with a scholarship, and two of the students are now employees at Health Catalyst.
